Zhuzhou City Replace HPS with LED Street Lights

August 20, 2012, Zhuzhou City Lighting  Management Office replaced 624 sets of street lights at Tianyuan District, Changjiang Road, Taishan intersection.  ”LED lighting got advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, high illumination and long service life.” The official of the Zhuzhou City Lighting Management Office  said.

To promote the use of LED lighting, is the implementation of the “green light” to achieve an effective way of saving lighting.

Before August 28, the original high-pressure sodium lamps replacement with LED lighting will be finished . It is understood that after the completion of the pilot transformation, Zhuzhou City Lighting management at the street light energy saving effect will conduct a comprehensive assessment to provide basis for decision making, promote the use of HPS replacement by LED street lights
